QUESTION 2: Reality or Illusion?
It's illusion.Everything is made for him. Everything is  fake, such as his wife, she doesn't love him, she just want to become a star because she is a actor. Mayers agrees with me when she notes that "all the actors went through a loop every day. Starting with a man with flowers, a lady on a bike and then a beetle with a messed up fender pass by his home in that order."

 QUESTION 2: Reality or Illusion?
As Toby explains in her reason, "Everything that he did was real and unplanned; that makes it a reality. " However, I don't agree with her because truman lived a controlled life since he was a baby. Everything is fake and made for him , such as his wife, she doesn't love him, she just want to become a star because she is a actor.

Quiz on Subject-Verb Agreement
[Logo]
Select one answer from the choices provided after each sentence. The word you choose should fit the blank in the sentence. Don't use the HINT buttons unless you really need them.
1.  Either the physicians in this hospital or the chief administrator ____ going to have to make a decision.
 is
 are

You're right! When subjects are connected by or, the subject closer to the verb (which is, in this case, singular) determines the number of the verb.

2.  ______ my boss or my sisters in the union going to win this grievance?
 Is
 Are

You're right! Again, the subject closer to the verb (my boss) determines the number of the verb.

3.  Some of the votes __________ to have been miscounted.
 seem
 seems

You're right! Some is the subject in this sentence; it is plural because the word votes makes it a countable indefinite pronoun.

4.  The tornadoes that tear through this county every spring _____ more than just a nuisance.
 are
 is

You're right! The subject is tornadoes. You were not confused by the words and phrases that came between the subject and its verb.

5.  Everyone selected to serve on this jury _____ to be willing to give up a lot of time.
 have
 has

You're right! Everyone! seems to be a plural word, but it is always singular.

6.  Kara Wolters, together with her teammates, _________ a formidable opponent on the basketball court.
 presents
 present

You're right! The subject is not compounded by phrases such as along with, together with, and as well as.

7.  He seems to forget that there __________ things to be done before he can graduate.
 are
 is

You're right! The subject (things, in this case) comes after the verb in constructions that begin with here or there.

8.  There _______ to be some people left in that town after yesterday's flood.
 have
 has

You're right! The subject is people, which is plural, and that determines the verb (not the word there).

9.  Some of the grain __________ to be contaminated.
 appear
 appears

You're right! Some is the subject of this sentence and, since it is not really countable (you can't count the grain), it is singular.

10.  Three-quarters of the students __________ against the tuition hike.
 is
 are

You're right! Three quarters of the students represents a countable number.

11.  Three-quarters of the student body __________ against the tuition hike.
 is
 are

You're right! Three quarters of the student body represents a lump sum, a singular entity.

12.  A high percentage of the population _________ voting for the new school.
 is
 are

You're right! "Percentage" is a mathematical proportion, expressing here a singular lump sum.

13.  A high percentage of the people _________ voting for the new school.
 was
 were

You're right! "Percentage" is a mathematical proportion, but here it reflects a countable, therefore plural, quantity.

In "I Know the Truth, So Don't Bother Me with Facts,"Jeffrey Kluger states that people are esaily mislead by rumors and lies, He believes that even people learn by the facts, they rather than trust rumor which was pretended perfectly. For example, in a study by R.Kelly Garrnett and Erik Nesbet, assistant professors of communication at Ohio State University, they recruited 750 people who believe at least one of the rumors about the proposed Islamic cultural center and tell them the facts, less than one third of the people willing to change their mind. Kluger also believes that the rest of the people are too obstinate to change their mind. They prefer to stand on what their thinking. Some investigators are think deeper on the basic of data.
I agree with Jeffery Kluger  when he states that "Even when people do take time to learn the facts, the effort often does no good." The reason why i agree with him, First, sometimes people don't like being told they're wrong because accept the facts sometimes it is painful. Second, people always like to trust themselves instead of other people. There are so many facts in the world but some people don't like to face the truth. They like to stay in their own world without the true facts. I remember when i was in high school in history class teacher told us about person name is Giordino Bruno who  was an Italian Dominican friar, philosopher, mathematician and astronomer and he believes that the the Sun was essentially a star, and moreover, that the universe contained an infinite number of inhabited worlds populated by other intelligent beings. Some people against him and didn't believe him. They thought that he talked nonsense and wanted to kill him as well. He was burned at the time just because he still thought the fact and told others this fact but others didn't want to accept the fact. Many years later, many philosophers wanted to prove the fact like what Giordino Bruno talked before. They were also died by killed from other people but now we know he was right,he's died. That is good reason why people don't like to accept the fact. They won't be told they are wrong.
As a result, If people had accepted the facts being told, the world would have gotten big process. We can get to learn from each other.

The "Allegory of the Cave" by plato represents an extended things that is to contrast the way in which we think and believe in what is reality. Prisoners would mistake appearance for reality. They would think the things they see on the wall (the shadows) were real; they would know nothing of the real causes of the shadows.
The story as told by Socrates and Glaucon presents a unique look at the way in which reality plays such an important part in our own existence, and how one understands it.
